We are Little Acorns Montessori and we have been helping to grow the children of this community for 21 years.   
Founded in a desire to give back to the children of the community, Cathie and Mimi began this small and selective program in 2005 with 5 children and a dream to help all children reach their full potential in a warm and loving environment.   Now 21 years later they are still a vibrant part of the community, and would love to have your family become a part of the Little Acorns community.

In this time they have helped hundreds of children learn and grow and have provided an amazing foundation and love of learning that cannot be replaced.   They are dedicated educators, mothers and innovative thinkers.

what we do

 our community classroom combines Montessori teaching methods and a loving environment to bring out every child's potential.  We do fun activities to foster creativity and a sense of community.   We go on field trips and have two concerts per year to celebrate our accomplishments!

once a Little Acorn, always a Little Acorn

Once families become Little Acorns, they never really leave.   Over our many years we have helped many siblings from families join us.  This has allowed us to foster long relationships with families sometimes spanning a decade.  Most of our families come to us from referrals from current or past families. There is no better endorsement than that!
Alumni often drop by to catch up and let us know about major life events.   In the past 2 years, many of our first Little Acorns are off to University.  An accomplishment for all of us!
